Gnomes of Nomleyville: Valentine's Day Heart Twins
A sweet gnome to express your Valentine's wishes!
Valentine's Day is made even sweeter when you let someone know there's "gnomebody" like them!
There's Gnomebody Like You is a sweet and simple take on Valentine's Day and besides, who doesn't love a gift-bearing gnome!?!
With this class, you will be receiving all four designs although we only paint one of the gnomes. The lovely little gnome on the left is the model for this class. Once you paint the first twin, the other three are just as easy!
The four gnomes make the art customizable depending on the recipient of the card. There are two boys and two girls each holding either a heart or an envelope with a heart. You have the option of inking your gnomes before adding color or leaving the pencil lines instead.
These designs make great cards, framable art and gift tags.
The class was hosted on the Zoom platform which gave participants the opportunity to ask questions in real time while working on their artwork. You will hear some of their comments and the questions they ask.

Laure Ferlita is an accomplished watercolorist residing in sunny Florida. Watercolors, nature, travel, painting on location, sketching for the joy of it, and most especially, color, are her passions!
Vibrant color can be found in almost any subject and its shadows. It is her joy to bring those colors to life on paper with some paint and a little water. For many years, Laure worked as a graphic designer, so you will most likely see a strong graphic element in her work.
She started sharing her joy and love of sketching on location over at ImaginaryTrips.com in 2009 and has helped many "travelers" to find their artistic voice since then.
“Watercolor, for me, is the perfect sketching medium." Laure says. “It provides ease of use, quick color saturation, and clean up is a snap and really, you don't need much equipment. After you move past the hype of how difficult watercolor can be, you find out how much fun it is to get out there and actually create on location. It's way too much fun!"
